Dharmasthala-Trip

Hi, I have some thing to share with every one. Last year in the month of June we 5 friends had a trip of Dharmasthala and Kukke Subramanya. It was awesome.Lets get on to the experience.

On June 25 of 2008 night we set the journey, we boarded a bus directly to Dharmasthala, we got to the destination by morning, the journey was so horrible, thanks to the bad roads. We got down there by morning around 7 AM, we got down near Netravathi river, took bath over there, and boarded an auto-rickshaw for the temple,It was a 10 minutes journey from the river. We entered the temple by keeping our luggages in a locker room and took the coconuts to offer. As this is the biggest and most famous holy place in south india and mainly coastal karnataka, many devotees al l over india come to worship here. It took around 1 hour for us to see the god and offer prayers. Then we came out, had breakfast in a near by hotel.

Just after worship here, we set our journey to Kukke Subramanya from here, which is around 60 km from here and it took one and half hour for us to reach out there. Believe me its like heaven on earth. There the clouds were touching the hills behind the temple. Which mesmerises any tourist who visits the place. We offered prayers over there nad came out of the temple in an hour. The time was around 2 in the after noon, and the time for lunch was up, we had our lunch there in a hotel. We set our journey back to Dharmasthala,we reached there by around 4 in the evening.

There we went to the mahabaleshwara statue, which is a giant statue. From there we were back to the bust station. It was time to return back. We got a bus at 7'o clock,we had our dinner on the way in a dhaba. We reached hubli by morning 8 am.It was a good trip in a whole.

IPL heat on...

Hi every one...hope every one is enjoying the IPL...its just a week past and has created too much interest among all. So as of now the IPL score chart is led by the Deccan chargers who were the first from the last in previous year's chart. Well its been great performances by many player, some to name are Sachin Tendulkar though he played only one match,Adam Gilchrist,Matthew Hayden,Rahul Dravid, and many more.

But there were even some terrible performances to be highlighted as of Kevin Pietersen who had got the highest bid of 1.5 million dollars, but he is yet to perform with bat.they are many other players to name. Royal Challengers had won the first game ,since then they ve been loosing thematches. Kings XI punjab registered thier first win against RC Bangalore, KKR won single match and lost other matches. Where as the start for Rajasthan Royals was not so good as they had lost quiet a few matches, they registered thier first win against the Kolkata Knoght Riders in a very close shave which had gone till the super over in which Yusuf Pathan devastated the KKR. Delhi Daredevils having played two matches, they ve won both the matches. In which rain god helped them a bit and remaining was done by AB de villiers by scoring a century of 50 balls against CSK. Mumbai played only one,the other match was washed by rain and got the points distributed.

Friends there's still lot more to come in IPL, this week was just the start and the heat is yet to come. Just hang on and enjoy the matches, no matter which team you support.

IPL SEASON 2

Folks,
Its IPL time again, its time to rap up the works early in the evening, its time to stuck up to tv in the evenings with the thrill of IPL 2, many changes, many alterations, over all tat is the overseas venues for the matches. i believe that it would be better if the matches would ve been in India but its democracy first, sports and entertainment next in our nation. We as a part of banglore have a reason to support RCB( Royal Challengers Bangalore) this time as the swash buckling batsman and a good captain of England is the captain of RCB. Not to stop the big hitters Ross Taylor and Jesse Ryder are also the part of RCB. So this time we cannot ignore RCB. All eyes on the Rajasthan Royals the winning team of the previous season IPL. But the main key for them is absent this time. Yes ur right I am talking about Shane Watson.

Deccan Chargers would be trying to bank upon their strong team which last time failed to show their capabilities. The finalist of IPL 1 none other than CSK Chennai Super Kings would be high on confidence as they are being led by one of the world's best captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. As he has won many series before the IPL 2. He has a lots of hopes of winning this seasons biggest extravaganza. He is being supported by the another biggie Andrew Flintoff, Matthew Hayden and many more.

The Kolkata Knight Riders would be hoping to give the best of its games as they had lost the track last time in the middle of the season. With Brendon Mccullum being their one of the biggest assets. They also would like to include Ajantha Mendis the spin legend which they missed out to include last year.

The another team which made its big impact last time was Kings XI Punjab, with the lead as Yuvraj Singh would be hoping to win the league this time. With Shaun Marsh the highest run scorer last time. The today's hero of Indian National Team yes I am talking about Gauti, Gautham Gambhir is part of Delhi Daredevils, led by none other than the fast hitter Viru, Virender Sehwag.

Lastly not to leave Mumbai Indians(amchi mumbai), led by the legend of the cricket ever master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. It banks upon the great hitter Sanath Jayasurya in batting and the doosra of Bhajji,Harbhajan Singh. Last there was a near miss with KXI taking out to semis, this time they would be going strong on confidence as Zaheer, bhajji had good cricket this season.

So people its a not to miss programme daily with thrills, funs etc
